SHAPE A STARTUP MVP IN 100 DAYS
We help new entrepreneurs shape an MVP of a startup in the first 100 days from product to customer to brand. At the end, a decision is made about launch.
Throughout the 100 days, entrepreneurs are exposed to key startup building modules plus participate in weekly office hours, regular group show-and-tells with their peers, and periodic workshops and talks. The CITYLABS are open full-time for entrepreneurs with two dedicated in-person days each week.

SECURE THE FIRST 1000 CUSTOMERS
With a handful of the entrepreneurs from the 100 Day Cohorts, we begin co-building new urbantech startups over the next nine months though we partner for life.
On day one, we inject pre-seed cash into the startup. We focus intensely on the top three priorities identified by the startup cofounders at any given time. And we set our sights on acquiring the first 1000 customers together to demonstrate market fit and get the startup in a position to scale regionally.
Utopia is launching a venture building cohort focused on urbantech solutions in Kathmandu. We aim to accept 10-15 individuals and work with the most promising ones for up to 18 months.
Our aim is to screen applicants and start the cohort in Q2 2023. However, this timeline might be subject to change depending on the availability of our applicants. Once K03 begins, the first few weeks will be utilized to introduce the cohort to each other and explore urbantech problem areas. Then we will invite the most promising individuals to continue building their venture idea with us.
The individuals that we commit to will receive seed investment to build their venture idea, access to a pool of cofounders, tailored mentoring from our local and international network of experts, a physical space to build their solutions at the CITYLAB in Kathmandu, and Utopia as their cofounder.
Utopia takes 33% equity of the resulting companies and will continue working with the cofounders for 18 months. Together, Utopia and the new companies will collectively look for further seed investment to scale the companies.
